Is your unit on the list?

1. Assess your green IT practices
Anyone can represent their department and apply for Green IT Achievement. Eligibility and the requirements for achieving the three levels are based on the green computing best practicesas evaluated using the Green IT Departmental Checklist, and scored according to standard criteria. The checklist references additional documents like the Green IT Individual Survey, which can help you increase awareness of best practices and promote behavioral change in your unit, and Data Center/Server Room Worksheet. You may need to consult with IT staff to complete the departmental checklist.

Once we verify that your department is following green IT practices, it will be awarded one of the three levels of Green IT Achievement. Units are encouraged to continually improve green efforts to increase their level.
